time to update!!!
Wow I kinda forgot about this blog since I've been on facebook!
Life has been challenging this past year - and looking back I realize it all happened for a reason - God is always in control - and I need to remind myself of that everyday!
This past year was one of the hardest years in Ohio but we survived - Tim and I are stronger people - and stronger in the Lord.
Jaxon is getting ready to start Preschool again this year - he is VERY excited - he gets to go with some of his buddy's and I am excited for a couple of hours with just Damon! Jaxon is 4 going on 12 - he is always letting me know he knows everything :). He says "mom I know am smart!" and well what do you say to that :) He loves playing baseball outside and this summer we got a trampoline for the boys - which they use everyday! they are loving it - we haven't had much of a hot summer - but we have had lots of beautiful 75 - 78 degree weather and I will take that anyday! so we have played and played outside..... I have tried to take them to the pool at least once a week if not more - and they love the water.....
Damon is already 1 and walking, talking (baby talk), and making us laugh - he loves to show off and loves to chase after Jaxon - which is not always a good thing :) - I hope to have more time with him this winter. and do somethings that Jaxon and I did before Damon came into our lives. He is working on getting 3 more teeth and mommy wants nothing more that those teeth to come through :(
My mom and dad were just here for a week and we really had a blast with them - time always seems to slip away when they come, but we really enjoyed there company!
Tim got a job in April finally - and is working hard at that and mowing on the side - so he seems to keep busy! he also plays softball for the church league and we all really enjoy going to watch him play - they are #1 in the league and they have won all the tournaments this summer so they have a great team and I get to hang out with the wonderful wives!
We also moved this summer - so most of the beginning summer was packing and the past month was unpacking! crazy how you don't think you have a whole lot until you move! but we did it and praying we don't have to do this next year again!
I am still working a little bit - but am thinking about finding something more since Damon is not a little baby anymore - but I LOVE staying home with the boys and praise God that he is still making that possible for us! Tim likes that as well - and I am so blessed to have a husband who has the same values!
I don't really know what else to write - I am not a blogger but I thought it was about time to update!
I will post some pics of the summer!
God Bless Everyone......

Not sure what to write - we seem to be so busy - but yet we are at home alot - that really doesn't sound right - but its true.....
All I know is that its December and another year is almost over...... I want to thank my God who sees us through everything good and bad... and helps us figure out whats best for our family- even when I don't understand what He's doing! can anyone relate?
looking back over the last year and what we all got to do! I was blessed, challenged, tired, happy, big and pregnant, hot, confused, and a whole lot more emotions come to mind but you don't want me to ramble on and on.
I didn't send out Christmas letters this year so I thought I would just put it on my site - ( really not much to say)
My oldest son Jaxon who turned 3 this year.... is really into learning. He loves looking at books, playing EVERY sport there is, riding his bike, playing outside, and he LOVES to go to preschool.... I think every Wednesday he says "mommy I want to go to school every day not just 1 day" so I hope he keeps this going when he really has to go everyday!! haha I really love this stage that he is in - he is so sweet and wants to know so many things - he is a GOOD helper with Damon, and loves him so much.
I am sure everyone knows that we had another beautiful boy this summer - July 22nd Damon Austin Miller arrived with 10 fingers and 10 toes ...... we are blessed with a healthy baby.... He is 5 months know and starting to roll over, and baby talks every morning at 6
- he is such a happy baby - he smiles even when you aren't talking to him.... and some days I forget hes around - he is so content just rolling around the floor....
Jaxon loves playing with him and Jaxon is Damon's bigest fan. if anyone can make him giggle its Jaxon.I am a stay at home mom and loving every minute of it - my boys are growing up so fast - I want to cherish every moment. I didn't do a whole lot this year - since I was pregnant for half of it... but I did enjoy the pool as much as possible this year and taking my boys to the park. we also went camping a couple of times & lots of softball games this summer. we had Tim's family come in alot this year - so we had lots of great times with family. I don't know what else to say about me - I am not that exciting...haha
Tim has kept busy this year with his job and then this summer he mowed lawns again on the side - he also kept busy playing softball for our church team. and we always look forward to Dublin Tournaments in September, they did a great job this year.
We are really involved in our church - I still sing on the worship team - Tim helps teach - and we are helping with our childrens program on wednesday nights - so that keeps us going..
I guess that is it - we didn't do a whole lot this year due to our new addition - but we have been so blessed -
I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas season and a wonderful new year!

3 months already
My baby is 3 months already - I can't believe how fast it went but he is such a good baby and love spending everyday with my boys and am really trying to set aside my stuff and do something special with Jaxon everyday and spend some baby time too. Tim is finishing up on his mowing, I can't wait to have in home by 5:30 instead of 8:00 - Ericka you can identify with that!!! I thank God that I have a husband that comes home though!
I want to make some cut-out cookies for fall - anyone have a good recipe that I could use? Jaxon got a pumpkin cut out so we want to use that and frost them with sprinkles that he also got - so any suggestions!
Here are some pics of my boys - and mom I will send you some!!
have a blessed week

So I thought we would have a slow September but it turned out to be just as busy as August - I was hoping to stay home more and get stuff done at my house well it didn't work out that way! the month started out with Tim starting a new job (again) the company he was working for went under and he had to find something else - well right when we found out about his job another one came to us so God is good - he is a manager at a new lighting store in Berlin - so if you need nice lights for your house - he can hook you up
they have a beautiful chandelier in there that I can see in my forayer. so the first week in September is when the store opened and so they took a car through the Berlin parade to advertise and I helped with serving food to the contractors that came in. Then we got affects from IKE and lost our electric for about a week - so we were going back and forth from our house to Tim's parents house who so graciously let us stay there until we got it back - I came home everyday and checked on things and grabbed more clothes for another day - and then my deep freezer needed attention so we rounded up a generator and got that thing going - it was really weird - if you walked outside our house all you would hear was generators. I kept reminding myself that we were the fortunate ones - there were a whole lot worse situations out that there - but with a 2 month baby I felt like crying. But we got our electric back and our house was still in one piece except for the pile of tree branches in our back yard waiting for us to clean up. oh and on the 2nd night I got sick and thanks to Erika who opened up her house so I could sleep and get better - thanks again - Jaxon thought it was the greatest!!!
I wanted to take Jaxon somewhere so he could pick out a pumpkin this year and so I heard about the Hershberger Patch so we headed out there one day, unfortunately the hay rides weren't going yet so he couldn't go out and pick it he had to pick it out of a bin..... but he got to feed the animals and ride a pony so he was happy.
So the last of the month we surprised Tim's parents with a 70th birthday party and we got them good - it was also the swiss festival weekend which if you live in Sugarcreek is a highlight - we enjoyed the weekend to the fullest with 2 parades, lots of rides, good food (the food was not so much a highlight this year with 2 kids), and getting to see people you only see once a year! Tim's nephew came up for it to he wanted to run in the 5K marathon, he won it. ( he has a full scholership in track) So the whole family was in to see him as well as the birthday party.
So we are into October and starting to think of the holidays - I must say I was not ready for it but we went out last night to go old walmart and the smells of fall were out and I got into the season! so like it or not its coming and I am getting ready early this year - I would like to get my shopping done so I can relax and enjoy it this year
see if that happens...hahaTim is winding down on his mowing and he is glad - with his new job comes later hours so he comes home at 5:30 and heads out to mow till dark... so there are nights he doesn't see the boys - so we are excited to have him home more!
I am still working one night a week and I really like getting out a bit and also that I can do it without getting a babysitter. works for me

I think thats all thats going on in our lives right now - if you think of us keep us in your prayers -
Shelly - God Bless and have a great month - I am not updating as often as I would like but my days go so fast that I forget about it!

We had a good 4th of July weekend!!! we went camping at Atwood with some friends of ours and the weather started out rainy but once we got to camp and set everything up it quit and we never saw rain again the whole weekend! so we were thankful for that... Craigs & Duanes camped with us but we had Loyals, and Noah's (Duanes parents), and Mark & Lois join us for the some of the time. Thanks to friends of ours at church for giving us a camper so I wouldn't have to come home each night - I wasn't about to tent it being 9 months pregnant.... but Jaxon loved the camper he couldn't get enough of it.... he kept saying thats so nice of Maynards to give us there camper :) it sure is nice going with a 3 1/2 yr old. Naveah and Jaxon played really nice and they were at the age they could go play by themselves - which this time next year I will have a 1 yr old so I really enjoyed my time :)
I went to the dr. yesterday and I am just in the starting stage of dialating so it could go fast or it could go slow - we are just waiting and waiting.....
Today some of the sewing ladies came over and cleaned my house really good - it was so nice to have a clean house and not have to think about that this week!!! thanks girls - it meant alot....
well I put some pics of the weekend below this blog so enjoy! have a great and blessed week
